There are two train stations in Basel – the Swiss train station ‘SBB’ and the German train station ‘Badischer Bahnhof’. The train station SBB is the nearest one. From the train station SBB you can either take a taxi or use public transportation (see ‘By Tram or Bus’ below). | |
By Tram from Train Station SBB or from Basel City / Schifflände | |
Take tram No. 11 direction Aesch, exit at the stop Reinach Süd. Walk down the street Hauptstrasse for about 100 m and turn left into the Neuhofstrasse which after 400 m turns left and becomes Kägenstrasse. By Car Coming from Germany | |
Take A5/E34/E35 towards Basel. After passing the border to Switzerland, A5 becomes A2/E35. Stay on the A2 in the direction of “Delemont” for 7.5 km. Continue towards “Delemont” on Highway 18 for 6.5 km.Take a right at exit Reinach-Süd and follow Bruggstrasse for 0.5 km. On the first roundabout (“Kreisverkehr”) you take the 3rd exit (Kägenstrasse). We are about 250 m down the street on the left, at the corner of Christoph-Merian-Ring. | |
By Car Coming from Bern/Zürich | |
Take motorway A3 (from Zürich) or A2 (from Bern). When coming closer to Basel follow the directions towards “Delemont”. Take a right onto Highway 18 and continue towards “Delemont” for 6.5 km.Take a right at exit Reinach-Süd and follow Bruggstrasse for 0.5 km.
